Quick Fire Status Update


Hey all, microman here. Been a long while since the last update for Quick Fire, so I just wanted to make a short post to make things clear.

I am now planning to release 0.4.1 at some point, which will include map improvements, several new models, some balance changes, and some small improvements to Robot Invasion. This update has come about from me mainly wanting to really finish up Quick Fire and make sure it's in the best state possible, so that I can be confident in leaving it as is.

To answer any questions:

Will there be any more updates to Quick Fire? - No, most likely not, for a variety of reasons. Maybe small balance patches and such will still happen.

Will there be anything Quick Fire related in the future? - Yes, if I can find the right time for it.

What else are you working on? - Some smaller projects to test out different mechanics and systems, mainly.

Why can't you work on Quick Fire (or other projects) more? - I've been a bit busy recently, but hopefully I can dedicate more of my afternoons to dev work.

Thanks to those few who have been playing Quick Fire in recent times, even if it's not many, it's still motivation that makes me want to do good things for this game.

The game is still being updated 😳

*probably* the last one, but i'm trying to make sure that everything will be consistent and a bit more polished before leaving it. Also, if you like the Six Barrel Shotgun or N-Foam Launcher, they have some buffs and tweaks coming their way (along with other weapon changes)
