Quick Fire 0.4.0 "Rearmed and Ready"
Hello everyone! Long time no update. I know that it has been a while but hopefully what this update has packed up into it will be worth it, it brings a whole crate load of new guns, gun updates, a new map and map updates, as well as other fixes and changes!
As a slightly more somber note there are no guarantees that Quick Fire may get major updates again in the future, the project has managed to creep into a state where it is becoming hard to balance and fix, and yet we have more ideas we want to add, so while we may come back to it you might want to look out for any other projects coming out from microman502 in the future!

Update Contents
General
- Added the Robot Invasion Gamemode
- Functional Upgrades for all weapons
- PvE robot combat
- Brand new Team functionality
- Quick Create replaced with Training button
- Healing from pickups is now over time rather than instant
- Projectiles can pierce or bounce
- This can mainly be seen in Robot Invasion
- Fall Damage is back
- Slower AP regen rate across all classes (0.34/s > 0.25/s)
- Respawn key added (R by default)
- Removed the Slam ability
- Added the Hover ability
Classes
- Reduced all classes' head size by ~15%
- Classes all have default Loadouts
- All classes have a modelled hat
- Classes all have unique names
- Light > Courier
- Mage remains as Mage
- Medium > Ranger
- Heavy > Warden
- Warden changes
- Riot Shield changes
- Now restores all lost armour on player kill, additionally the damage reduction of the armour has been increased (25% > 50%)

- Base AP increased (3 > 4)
- Added AZIMUTH Shackles passive, increasing ability cooldowns by 50%.
Weapons
- All weapons have a model
- Most weapons now have "Halving" damage falloff, meaning that after travelling a certain distance the damage of the projectile fired is halved.
- Rocket Launcher changes
- Reduced damage (100 > 60)
- Grenade Launcher changes
- Reduced damage (75 > 50)
- Reduced explosion radius (2 > 1.5)
- Projectiles can now bounce up to 2 times
- Improvised SMG changes
- Increased fire rate (6/s > 13/s)
- Reduced damage (10 > 5)
- Revolver changes
- Increased Weight (0.75 > 1)
- Reduced damage (25 > 20)
- Increased weakpoint damage bonus (+75% > +150%)
- Double Barrel Shotgun changes
- Both barrels are now fired independently using Left click and Right click for the Left and Right barrel respectively
- Reduced damage (72 > 54)
- Rocket Jumper changes
- Reduced ammo clip (3 > 2) to keep in line with the Rocket Launcher
- Toxin Grenade changes
- Renamed from "Gas Grenade" to "Toxin Grenade"
- Increased AoE radius (2.5 > 4)
- Combat Knife changes
- Reduced weight (0.75 > 0.5)
- Reduced fire rate (1.7/s > 1/s)
Warden Weapons
- Added a new secondary, the Heavy Revolver
- Oppressor changes
- Increased spread (base 0.01 > 0.075, bloom 0.01 > 0.025)
- Reduced scope spread multiplier (0.75 > 0.25) making scoping far more accurate
- Reduced move speed penalty while firing (0.6 > 0.65, 40% > 35%)
- N-Foam Launcher changes
- Now a secondary weapon
- No longer deals damage
- Reduced fire rate (10/s > 4/s)
- Reduced charge speed (0.2/s > 0.5/s)
- Foam slowing effect no longer lingers on players outside of foam globs
- Flamejet changes
- Now fires a burst of flame rather than a continuous stream
- On hit provides a 2x fire rate multiplier for 0.6 seconds
- Chainsaw changes
- Reduced weight (2 > 1.5)
- Now class-locked to Warden
Ranger Weapons
- Added a new primary, the Hunting Rifle
- Added a new secondary, the BW-17 Pistol
- Sniper changes
- Now has a laser that shows where the Ranger is currently looking, only active while holding the Sniper
- Reduced clip size (5 > 4)
- Marksman Rifle changes
- Renamed from "Assault Rifle" to "Marksman Rifle"
Mage Weapons
- Added a new primary, the Flechette Shotbow
- Added a new secondary, the Brine Wand
- Lifestealer Crossbow changes
- Increased projectile speed (90m/s > 125m/s)
- Reduced reload speed (1.5s > 1.25s)
- Reduced weakpoint damage bonus (+75% > +50%)
- Frost Wand changes
- Reduced reload speed (2s > 1.5s)
- Meteor Staff changes
- Reduced damage (12 > 10)
- Reduced shots per attack (2 > 1)
- Reduced fire rate (16 > 10)
- Reduced reload speed (3s > 2s)
Courier Weapons
- Six Barrel Shotgun changes
- Increased damage (40 > 50)
- Increased spread (base 0.075 > 0.1)
- Reduced spread bloom (bloom 0.03 > 0.02)
- Added +25% weakpoint damage bonus
Maps
- Added 2Town
- Added experimental lighting to 2Town and New Age
- Added textures to many map objects
- Significant additions to New Age and Steel Mill
- Out of map Terrain rather than just void
- A Walkway/Wall on New Age
- Other minor additions such as props
QoL
- Quick statistic descriptions for weapons while in loadout weapon selection menu
- Settings for scope sensitivity added
- Deploy and reload HUD indicators
- Overweight slowdown percentage displayed next to weight
- Model optimisations across props, weapons, and players
- Added LODs
- Players attach better to elevators
Audio
- New Double Barrel Shotgun firing sounds
- New SMG reload sounds
- Grenade "Pin" SFX
Visual
- "AZIMUTH Pack" added to player's backs
- Increased player colour saturation
- Procedural animations for weapon deployment
- Projectiles face towards where they are travelling
- They can also tumble such as in the case of throwables
UI
- Added Scoreboard (Visible when pressing Tab)
- Full main menu overhaul to utilise "Quick Buttons" UI
- Discord link button
- Tweaks to Bindings
