0.5.1 "Robot Rising" Patch
Quick Fire » Devlog
Hey all! This took longer to get out that it should have, but this is just a quick update to tune up some things that needed fixing. It's very minor, with only some bugfixes, UI adjustments, and optimisations.
Update Content
Visual
- Added emote animations for all primary weapons (press R while the clip is full to play an emote).
- Updated preview icons for all classes.
- Updated killfeed icons for all robots.
UI
- The Create Room UI has been given a slight touch-up to make spacing and sizing less awkward.
- Replaced "Training" button with "PvE / Coop"
Fixes
- Weapons with passive reloads now properly reload when unequipped.
- Fixed resolution settings not saving and applying properly.
- Fixed main menu buttons scaling incorrectly.
Other
- Implemented an object pooling system, which is used for some effects and UI elements. This mainly improves performance when killing large amounts of robots.
